Welcome

Welcome to the City of Roseburg Parks and Recreation Division. Our goal is to enrich people's lives through providing park and recreation programs and facilities that benefit the quality of life for all Roseburg residents.  We invite you to explore the wide variety of park facilities and activities offered through Roseburg

Parks and Recreation.

The Comprehensive Parks Master Plan was adopted by City Council in April of 2008.  For more information on the Compreshensive Parks Master Plan click here.

The City of Roseburg Park Division includes 20 developed parks comprising 428 acres of passive and active recreation sites. The division also maintains many of the planter islands and street medians throughout the city. Parks range in size from the 263 acre Stewart Park to small pocket neighborhood parks. The City provides recreational facilities for adult and youth organized baseball, softball and soccer programs.

Facilities are also frequented by a large number of basketball, tennis, horseshoe, disc golf and volleyball enthusiasts that are not involved in organized recreational programs but use Roseburg Parks consistently on a casual basis. Stewart Park boasts six miles of paved trails interconnected to additional trails utilized by joggers, walkers, and bike riders leading to the heart of the city.

The Roseburg Parks Division appreciates the donation from Roseburg Soccer Association of topdressing sand provided by Green Diamond Sand Products to be used for Fall turf maintenance on the soccer fields at Fir Grove Park.

Thank you also to several other organizations that recently contributed toward athletic field improvements in City of Roseburg Parks.  Douglas County Mens Softball, Roseburg Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken all assisted with the purchase of top soil for the ballfields at Gaddis Park and Sunshine Park.

For maintenance issues relating to any of the City's 20 developed parks, planter islands, or street medians please contact the Public Works Field Operations Division at 541-677-9672.
